Double O

Growing up he was introduced to the sounds of Hip hop, Electro, Soul, Rare groove and Detriot Techno. In his teens he joined his cousins Reggae sound system called Commando but he was to lazy to move all the speakers around but would prefer to hold the mike instead!!

Then the rave scene came and what he loved about the music was that it was a selection of many influences, just like J-Tek is today.

The rest is all history. He used to DJ for four years as resident of the Doncaster warehouse with DJs such as Carl Cox, Jack frost, Doc Scott, Grooverider, LTJ Bukem, Frankie Valentine, Top Buzz, Stu Allen, Mongoose Easygroove, Easy D, Kenny Ken, Nebula 2, G Real, Phantasy, Ratty, DJ Rap, Easy D n Rush and also DJ M Zone.

He's also played at many venues in the North of England, in venues such as Evolution Hull, Sanky's Soap Manchester, Drill Hall Lincoln, Vibe Alive Mansfield,  Destruction (resident for about 4 years there) Pleasure dome, Sheffield etc etc . He's also played at Bar Rumba, New York for the Bass Camp Crew, Konkrete Jungle, Camouflage, Glade Festival, Plastic People, Turnmills, Stealth, Scala in Poland Lublin in Italy with the Unsound Crew, Jam Bar, Backdrop, Dungeons etc.

He's had releases on Formation Records 007 - The Undercover Agent EP, Lab Logic and has had his latest release out on DZR. He's also had releases on Digi-Lab and Syncophatic Recordings, Cylon, Hidden Hawaii and Rhythm Seeker and more releases are planned on digital labels in 2008, including J-Tek Records. He also promotes his own night with the highly talented DJ Mantra a night called Rupture, London.
